因優異之歌唱實力受到舞曲組合Disco Montego的邀約

可能很少人知道Daniel在其製作人Mark Ronson的The Smiths中的歌曲“Stop Me”裏面的聲音，

但他只是使用了這張專輯“Love & War”便將在5分鐘內，迅速撕毀任何那些對他的先入為主的想法，而沉浸在他的音樂裏。

他具有狼豹一樣的堅韌，並擁有幽默自我意識，清楚的表達能力掩飾了他的實際年齡。

在Love & War這張專輯裏，Daniel創紀錄的把兩種文化大都市間複雜又同樣無憂無慮並列結合在一起，卻不感到任何分裂的感覺。

Daniel Paul Merriweather出生並成長於墨爾本外東部一個藍領家庭，父母是育有三個男孩兒的教師。

“我住的小鎮位於一條鐵路線的盡頭，再過去就是森林。在那裏過的是種謙虛的生活方式。

當我是個孩子的時候，我花了相當多的時間一個人沉靜，我曾經一個人長途跋涉並思考問題。”

事實上反復的思考就是一個跑動中的具有年輕男子氣概的Merriweather：

“我像個孩子一樣去思考，我對哲學真的很感興趣。”
